JAKARTA, Aug 5 Asia Pulse - Publicly-listed financial services company PT Buana Finance Tbk (JSX:BBIA) said on Monday its net profit in the first half of 2008 fell 41 per cent to Rp32.121 billion (US$3.5 million) from Rp45.190 billion a year earlier.

Operating profit in the first semester of 2008 dropped to Rp46.442 billion from Rp64.925 billion in the same period last year, the company's corporate secretary, Sudiono Pujo, said.
