IT'S time for a headrest in the Lewis house.
After 70 years in the teaching trade, Sir John and Penny Lewis, who live in Ilkley, are both retiring this summer after rising to the top of their profession.
Mrs Lewis has been head teacher for five years at Allerton High in Moortown, one of Leeds's most successful schools.
Sir John, principal of Dixons City Technology College in Bradford, has also had a distinguished career and was knighted for his services to education in 2004.
