City's students targeted by fraudsters' depraved email

SICK hoaxsters are terrifying young Leeds women with bogus warnings of a date rape drug which leaves them sterilised.

Police and rape support groups have moved quickly to quash claims that the substance - a fictional drug known as progesterex - is increasingly being used to target vulnerable females.

An email detailing the supposed horrific use and effects of the drug has already been circulated among students in the city's universities.
