Travellers' tales helping to break down prejudice

ROMA stories which were once passed down through the generations from the back of a horse-drawn gypsy cart are being pulled into the classroom.
Open Roads Open Minds Travellers Storytelling will bring ancient worlds and traditions to life for children and young people across Leeds.
Not only will it inspire creativity, said Education Leeds chiefs, but also improve understanding of different cultures.
The award-winning project intended to build on children's own story telling skills was launched at The Carriageworks in Millennium Square in Leeds, last week.
