A YORKSHIRE knight will be hoping to earn his spurs on an American baseball park when he makes a promotional visit to the US later this week.
Sir Thomas Ingilby, of Ripley Castle, near Harrogate, is heading to America in his capacity as director and deputy chairman of the Yorkshire Tourist Board.
He is visiting Philadelphia from September 13 to 17 at the invitation of the Tourism and Hospitality Management Department of Temple University.
