Cannabis factories run by Vietnamese gangs in West Yorkshire streets have been uncovered by police.
Raids on houses in Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield and Shipley have found hi-tech systems set up to grow hundreds of plants at a time.
Six Vietnamese suspects have been arrested so far and the investigation is ongoing.
More than 5,500 skunk plants, one of the strongest types of cannabis, have been recovered so far this year.
The street value of the skunk has been put at between [pounds sterling]1.5m and [pounds sterling]2m.
Similar Vietnamese gangs in other parts of the country are known to have used trafficked children brought from Asia to tend the plants. ...
