Church 'team' to help Enid survive

A DESTITUTE asylum seeker has been given sanctuary in a Leeds Vicarage as she faces deportation back to the country where she was raped and tortured in prison.
Caring supporters are campaigning for Ugandan Enid Ruhango to be given the right to stay in Britain, but her request for asylum has so far been refused.
Now she says she daily fears the arrival of immigration officers who will send her back to the country she fled for fear of her life.
Enid, 32, is living at the Vicarage of All Hallows Church in Hyde Park in Leeds. It is one of several churches which have set up teams ...
