MONEY from an appeal launched by a former Lord Mayor of Leeds will help to rebuild a hospital in a city devastated by last year's earthquake
in Pakistan.
The [pounds sterling]50,000 raised will support the rebuilding and equipping of a hospital in Muzaffarabad, the state capital of Azad Kashmir.
Fund raising by council staff contributed just over [pounds sterling]6,000 and the remaining [pounds sterling]44,000 came from the council's contingency scheme.
