YORKSHIRE Building Society Charitable Foundation's latest fundraising appeal has raised a whopping [pounds sterling]90,000 for CLIC Sargent - the UK's leading children's cancer charity.
The donation will help 900 families by providing [pounds sterling]100 "care grants" to help with the financial strain which often accompanies a diagnosis of cancer in young people.
The "Granting Smiles" appeal received tremendous support and backing from actress and reality TV star Gaynor Faye and television presenter Alice Beer, pictured with Dwanye, 12 - he is currently getting support from CLIC Sargent.
