A 26-YEAR-old Leeds DJ has proved he's on the right wavelength after landing a nomination for the radio Oscars.
Andi Durrant is on the shortlist for Music Broadcaster of the Year in the prestigious Sony Radio Academy Awards.
He is in good company as he is competing alongside big hitters Jo Whiley and Colin Murray from Radio 1, Steve Lamacq of BBC 6 Music, and former Inspiral Carpets frontman Clint Boon, of XFM Manchester.
If he wins, the Galaxy Network DJ would be following in the footsteps of Radio 1's new-music champion Zane Lowe who won the title last year.
