One of Emily Kitson's playthings, a sleeping blue-eyed doll given to her 130 years ago, is to go under the hammer at Christie's in London on Tuesday May 1. It is expected to fetch between [pounds sterling]1,000 and [pounds sterling]1,500.
The doll has a wood and papier mache body, wears her original white cotton frock with braided decoration and comes with a large number of accessories.
