BABY massages can promote family bonding, stem a flood of tears and even help to relieve trapped wind. It is already becoming increasingly popular among parents, and now health workers are recognising the benefits. Rachel Wareing joined a group of professionals as they learned the secrets of massaging babies.
PUT seven babies in a church hall and you would normally know they were there - simply by the sound.
So it came as a bit of a shock to enter St Mary's Church Hall, in New Road, Peterborough, and find a group of mums and tots, accompanied by a tranquil hush.
In the warm, darkened room, a circle of women knelt behind their babies.
