FOR many minority groups, getting their voices heard is one of the biggest challenges they face.
But ethnic groups in Peterborough will be getting a helping hand thanks to a lottery grant of more than [pounds sterling]150,000.
The Peterborough Racial Equality Council (PREC) was successful in its bid for money from the Big Lottery Fund and has received [pounds sterling]155,439 for a three-year project.
Part of the cash has been allocated to fund a new worker who will help to set up a Race Equality Partnership to improve links between the different communities in the city.
