A PUBLIC meeting will decide the fate of a much-loved community centre threatened with closure.
The crunch meeting on the future of Copeland Community Centre has been called by those who run the hall, who say they cannot keep it going due to a shortage of volunteers.
The centre in South Bretton, Peterborough, which has been going for more than 25 years, is used each week by dozens of people of all ages, but the lack of people willing to run it could see the centre shut its doors to the public.
It would mean an end to a pensioners' social club, a pre-school playgroup and a popular youth club.
