A CONVICTED burglar has been jailed for 12 months for handling stolen goods.
Jeremy Cater (42) appeared at Peterborough Crown Court, yesterday, after he was found guilty by a jury at a trial in September. The offences relate to luxury Moben kitchen units and accesories, worth [pounds sterling]2,000, stolen from a new-build home in Rothpark Way, Hampton Hargate, between December 19 and January 13.
Police traced the stolen goods to Cater's home in Palmerston Road, Woodston, where they had been fitted into his own kitchen.
He was arrested, but claimed he bought the goods in good faith, although he did not say from ...
