PARENTS are worried that new speed bumps outside a primary school on Drybread Road, Whittlesey, have made the road more dangerous than ever before.
For years residents have pleaded and petitioned with Cambridgeshire County Council to introduce traffic calming measures on Drybread Road.
They were worried that a child would get knocked over as many drivers raced along the road.
Finally the council succumbed to demand and installed a row of speed-bumps on a half-mile stretch of road opposite Alderman Jacobs Primary School.
