THE countdown is on with just 48 hours to go until mods and indie kids across the city will flock to see Ocean Colour Scene.
Met Lounge promoter Steve Jason has teamed up with The Cresset, in Rightwell, Bretton, to bring the Britpop legends to the city as part of their national tour on Sunday.
And the venue will have its most powerful light rig to date for the much-anticipated show, complete with 10 5,000 watt bulbs.
Ocean Colour Scene first came to public attention through their links with former Jam frontman Paul Weller, who welcomed guitarist Steve Cradock into his band.
