HOLLYWOOD came to the city last night as the first of two glittering awards ceremonies got underway.
Students, parents and staff filled the seats of the Broadway theatre, in Broadway, in their tuxedos and ball gowns for the Oscar-style Peterborough Young People's Film Awards.
Last night's event was for films created by secondary school pupils.
The pupils arrived like the stars in stretch limousines and convertibles for the celebration of their hard work and achievement.
Special guests included film-maker Andy Harries, who produced the Bafta-winning The Queen, starring Helen Mirren.
