TORONTO _ In an April 15 column attacking Canada for doing business with dictator Fidel Castro ea of the many ``wonderful things'' that Canadians quietly are doing in Cuba. Without the fanfare that surrounds naive and profit-hungry Canadian executives schmoozing with Castro, other Canadians are supplying badly needed medical and economic aid to Cuba's beleaguered people.
Canada willingly aids Cuba regardless of ideology, and also bee in the Cuban economy after the Soviet Union's 1990 collapse and by the sharp fall-off in social and medical services that were central to the Cuban Revolution. Canada's humanitarian ...
