WITH feed costs rising, swine producers are looking for alternative ingredients to control costs while maintaining performance.
Since ingredients for nursery pig diets can be some of the most expensive, swine researchers presented several abstracts at the recent joint annual meeting of the American Society for Animal Science and American Dairy Science Assn. addressing novel nursery feed ingredients or alternative feeding strategies.
