Corn prices weather out rough week for agricultural commodities

Shanghai. August 8. INTERFAX-CHINA - Chinese spot prices of corn fell only a little during the week leading up to Aug. 6 while other Chinese agriculture commodity markets tumbled, according to price statistics released by chinagrain.cn.

In the major corn production regions of Jilin, Liaoning and Heilongjiang, corn prices remained stable at around RMB 1,630 ($237.96) per ton, unchanged from the previous week.
