From July 19 to August 4, the 1996 Summer Olympics are scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia. Hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world will travel to Atlanta to watch the Games firsthand. But more than a billion more - about one-fifth of the world's entire population - are expected to watch the Games on TV.
