A DEWSBURY police officer could lose his job after pleading guilty to drink driving at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
Det Con Stephen Collomosse, 45, was banned from driving for 12 months, fined [pounds sterling]200 and ordered to pay [pounds sterling]60 costs after he was stopped by patrol cars in December last year while driving under the influence of alcohol.
Collomosse, of Headingley, Leeds, initially sped away from the officers, along Chartists' Way in Morley, but pulled up after losing control of his BMW car and swerving across the road's central reservation.
