CLINTON Edward C. Lis, Sr., 84, of 969 Main St., died Thursday, August 7, 2008, in his home, after being stricken ill. His wife of 53 years, Doris M. (Karras) Lis, died in 1999.
He is survived by a son, Edward C. Lis, Jr. of Clinton; and a daughter, Donna M. and her husband, Peter S. Roskidany, of Auburn.
Edward was born in Clinton, the son of Alexander and Mary (Washkiewicz) Lis, and attended local schools.
For twenty years, he worked as a welder for R. E. Chapman of Oakdale, retiring in 1999. Previously, he worked for G. Bonazzoli & Sons of Hudson for twenty years. In addition, he owned and operated Eddie's Welding Co. of Clinton for many ...
