Horrific case of mistaken identity; ANDRE NUNES KILLING.(News)

ANDRE Nunes and Michael Weldon lived their lives on opposite sides of the law.

Andre (pictured) was a former male model whose flat was an open house for friends, while gangland heavy Weldon was a thug whose reputation held parts of Birmingham in a grip of fear. A case of mistaken identity resulted in Andre being dragged into Weldon's violent underworld.

In September 2005, Weldon and his shotgunarmed gang were hunting a man who had allegedly assaulted Weldon's niece.

They dragged 47-year-old Andre from his own bed at his home in Weoley Castle.
