BERWICK Rangers lost [pounds sterling]9,116 last year, compared with a loss of [pounds sterling]48,196 for the 12 months previous.
But members who attend next week's annual general meeting will be told that the figure was only achieved after the directors paid [pounds sterling]30,000 into the company.
The balance sheet shows that to the year ended May 2006 the club was [pounds sterling]414,679 in the red.
Turnover for the year rose from [pounds sterling]250,000 to [pounds sterling]266,000 with match receipts going up by around [pounds sterling]11,000 to [pounds sterling]76,000.
