AN Adlington woman is flying high after being promoted to area manager of a major food group.
Alison Haddon, 40, has been made area manager of United Co-operatives Food Group and has responsibility for a total of 14 stores.
She joined the company in 1983 at a store in Horwich and after three years she progressed to assistant manager, before being appointed to her first store manager position at a Bolton branch.
