FA Cup Preliminary Round
Garforth Town 1
Chorley 2
CHORLEY approached their rearranged FA Cup Preliminary tie with a confidence which belied their lowly league position.
With manager Paul Lodge taking control for the first time it was no surprise when Adam Roscoe gave them a 10th minute lead.
It followed a delightful interchange of passes with Peter Wright.
Cheered on by 40 fans Chorley were content to soak up pressure from their lower league opponents and rely on breakaways to increase their advantage.
