A fine 6-4 win at Broxbourne on Saturday helped Bedford's men bounce back from one of their heaviest home defeats in years.

Since the beginning New Year Bedford have lost 5-0 at home to Harleston, but won 4-2 at Dereham.

Alan Meredith made a welcome return and, along with Paul Livesy and stalwart Matt Bessy, Bedford dominated the midfield at the weekend.

Worryingly for Bedford, they conceded four goals in a match they controlled both in terms of territory and possession. Discipline is also of concern, with numerous players temporarily suspended.
