A lack of concentration cost Bedford's men dear as they lost 4-3 at Ipswich.
With only 11 players available due to injuries Bedford started brighter and created a vast number of opportunities, but the final pass and a lack of clinical finishing let them down.
The hosts took an undeserved lead with their first real chance, and they maintained their lead until half time, despite having been reduced to nine men for some poor tackles.
