Villagers in Chorley are being asked for their views on plans to improve ponds and open spaces near their homes.
The housing association Places for People, has drawn up comprehensive proposals for Astley Village and is to put in a bid for funding to the Big Lottery Fund.
But before it does, it wants feedback from residents.
The plans cover three main areas in the village, Buckshaw Hall Close pond, Broadfields pond and a proposed seating area at Broadfields.
However, the main body of the work would be on Broadfields pond - to open this up to make it a focal point of the estate, provide steel railings around it and to remove many of the trees on Broadfields that ...
