Multi-million pound proposals to redevelop land at Botany Bay are set to get the green light - but they've been criticised by some residents who fear they'll spoil the area.
Entrepreneur Tim Knowles unveiled his [pounds sterling]4m vision to transform the landscape next to the Leeds-Liverpool Canal and M61 into building three office blocks, complete with car parks and associated roads, in the Guardian last month.
Chorley council planners have recommended the plans for approval but a final decision won't be made until March 13.
