A multi-million pound development has been given the go ahead for land near Chorley's Botany Bay landmark site.
Planners at Chorley Council have given the green light to [pounds sterling]4m plans which will change the face of the landscape near the M61 forever.
Three office buildings will be built on a site between the motorway and the Leeds-Liverpool canal with work expected to start in coming weeks.
The development plans for the gateway into Chorley was submitted by multi-millionaire businessman Tim Knowles and his firm First Investments.
It is believed the site will create more than 300 jobs in the area.
