Teenage sensation Adam Grisdale is winning reviews in one the country's lesser known sports - of ice hockey.
Adam, from Mawdesley, has been chosen to attend trials for the England U16 team after wowing scouts playing as netminder for Manchester Phoenix.
The 15-year-old started out playing roller hockey with Preston Phoenix at Fulwood Leisure Centre when he was just eight.
When a friend returned from a holiday in Canada raving about the sport, Adam transferred his skills to Preston U12s ice hockey team.
