The man behind Botany Bay has insisted it's not for sale - although he's admitted being approached by several interested parties.
Tim Knowles, who is the managing director of First Investments Ltd, was responding after rumours began to circulate that the popular tourist attraction was up for grabs.
However Mr Knowles, who uses Botany Bay as the headquarters of his burgeoning property empire, said he was used to the site near the M61 attracting interest.
He said: "If you asked me if we'd been asked to sell Botany Bay I would say 'yes'. If you asked me if we'd been asked to sell Bygone Times in Eccleston I would say 'yes'.
