Electroputere Craiova plans to expand its product portfolio and begin wagon manufacture for export.
Shareholders of the locomotive manufacturer will discuss during the Extraordinary General Assembly of Shareholders in September the 18.7 times increase in the social capital, from 14.41 m RON ($ U.S 6.2 M) to 233.33 m RON($ U.S 100.6 M). They will also discuss making a EUR 70 m ($ U.S 105.6 M) loan for the acquisition of a new technological railway line that would help develop new locomotives and wagons.
