A PROLIFIC charity fund raiser is poised to do what he he has described as 'another of my silly old beggar cycles up mountain acts'.
On July 8, David Allan, 63, of Kilham, will attempt to reach the top of the Puy de Dome in France by bicycle.
A veteran of two previous climbs, his efforts on this occasion will raise money for the Driffield and District Talking Newspaper.
The Puy de Dome is an extinct volcano and is part of the legendary Tour de France route within the Massif Central region of France.
