A north Derbyshire man who flew to Hungary for dental work he could not afford in Britain says his treatment was the best he has ever had.

Jack White of Hockley Lane, Wingerworth, contacted dental tourism company Hungarian Dental Travel after he was told by his NHS dentist that the dental work he needed would cost more than [pounds sterling]35,000.

Jack (52) was quoted at just under [pounds sterling]10,000 for the same treatment in Hungary, consisting of a bone graft and dental implants on his upper and lower jaw, which was needed after he caught an oral infection while undergoing other dental work.
