Troy Glaus was hitless this season against the Chicago Cubs. Nothing to show in 30 at-bats. Then with two swings Saturday, the big slump disappeared.
Glaus hit two of the St. Louis Cardinals' four home runs off Carlos Zambrano to lead a 12-3 thumping of the Cubs.
Skip Schumaker and Albert Pujols also connected off the Cubs' ace, who was driven out after 4\u2153 innings.
"It's the hardest I've ever seen him get hit. That never happens; it really doesn't," Schumaker said. "It was one of those fluke type things."
