DALLAS, May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Arrow-Magnolia International, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARWM) today announced that earnings for the three months ended March 31, 1996 increased 27 percent to $222,638, or 17 cents per share, from $175,464, or 14 cents per share, in the same quarter last year. Net sales increased 26 percent to $2.5 million from $2.0 million in the year-earlier quarter.

Morris Shwiff, President, commented that the Company continued to enlarge its sales force in the first quarter of 1996, which was reflected in the increases of both sales volume and profits.
