DIRECTORS of the Culture Quarter Company, who have strong views about the regeneration of Whitley Bay seafront, are trying to win the Prime Minister's support for their plans.
They have launched an on-line petition on the Downing Street website calling on him "to urge North Tyneside Council to view favourably the community-based bid to regenerate Whitley Bay..."
Their petition states that the seaside town "has suffered from a lack of direction and investment for many years".
