Jexusalem -- The once-a-decade Anglican Lambeth Conference runs from July 16 to August 4 this year. Normally, it is attended by all the leaders of its worldwide communities. This year some 35 million of more traditionalist Anglicans, chiefly from Africa, out of 70 million Anglicans, will not be represented. Their leaders, some 1148 of them, including 291 bishops, known as the Global Anglican Future Conference, met in Jerusalem in late June to let the Communion know that they have decided to create new structures within Anglicanism, with a rival authority to the Archbishop of Canterbury.
