Strathcarron Hospice's efforts to make a visitors' day room a 'home from home' have paid off.
One young visitor now refers to his visits to the hospice as 'going to granny's house'.
And already the room has been used to host a wedding reception!
With its soothing lemon walls, comfy leather sofas, shiny new toys and a state of the art TV and PlayStation, the room's decor is far removed from the dated fireplace and formal upright chairs which used to occupy the room.
