SAN MATEO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1996--Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:ERTS), a global independent interactive entertainment software company, welcomed the release of the Redwood City Planning Department's Airport Land Use and Safety Study today.
The 240-page report concludes that Electronic Arts' proposed headquarters in Redwood Shores presented "no demonstrated risk to the safety of aircraft in flight."
The lengthy report, the result of an independent study commissioned by Redwood City, took over seven months to complete and includes a detailed analysis of actual flight tracks -- in both fair and inclement weather.
