May 10--It's ice cream with a jolt.
And if you're really in need of a fix, it will be in store freezers this weekend.
Shamrock Farms has joined forces with a fellow Phoenix company, Coffee Plantation, to brew a new line of coffee-flavored ice creams. You might say it's Juan Valdez meets Roxie, the Shamrock "spokes-cow."
The companies are betting on the widespread popularity of both coffee and ice cream in creating a super-creamy product with three flavors: Plantation Blend, Cafe Amaretto and Cafe Crunch. A fourth flavor, Cafe Mocha, will debut in a few months.
