FRAUDSTER Michael Eke, of March, has been stripped of his MBE by the Queen.
It was officially announced on Thursday that the Queen, who originally bestowed the honour on Eke in her birthday list in 2003, has now taken it away.
A notice on the London Gazette website from St James's Palace said the MBE shall be "cancelled and annulled" and Eke's name "erased from the register".
Before being sentenced in October to 18 months' imprisonment, Eke told the Citizen he had already returned the honour - given for services to the community.
