ADVENTUROUS March woman Carol Pamby has launched a fund-raising project in a bid to achieve a once-in-a-lifetime experience to work with poor children in India.
Carol needs to raise around [pounds sterling]3,500 to enable her to spend two weeks working with disabled children in a village in India in the spring of 2009 with the Children's Society.
The mother-of-four, of Swallow Way, is launching her fund-raising at the end of next month with a charity dance at March Conservative Club in Creek Road.
Music for the evening will be provided by Carol's husband Mick Pamby's group Streets Ahead and there will also be entertainment by Elvis impersonator ...
