PLANS for a new primary school at Strathallan Drive in Kirkcaldy came under close scrutiny from parents last week.
Education officials from Fife Council were joined by representatives from Miller Construction to answer questions from parents who plan to enrol their children in the new school, which will open in January next year.
The meeting was held at Balwearie High School.
It is hoped that the new school, which will have capacity for 414 pupils, will alleviate the pressure on other primary schools in Kirkcaldy, including Kirkcaldy West and Dunearn.
