THE Blackout are set to make history at Reading and Leeds Festival as the first ever unsigned band to play on the main stage.
The Merthyr Tydfil rockers are checking the history books to find out if their opening slot on Saturday's bill at Reading (Sunday at Leeds) makes then the first band without a record deal to grace the main stage.
The Blackout ended their deal with Fierce Panda in February this year after a few too many bad judgement calls from the indie label.
