VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1996--While taxpayers drew a collective sigh of relief on April 15th, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service began preparing one of it's most encouraging returns of the tax season: its own preliminary year-end fiscal results.
As the 1996 tax season drew to its close, it marked the end of panic stricken pandemonium for some taxpayers and a wrap on a record year for the Virginia Beach, Va.-based company.
